Why?
Because her artwork is extremly sexual, but not in a vulgar way, she portrays the subject as they are, an amazing creature of the world, no matter what sexual orientation.
It is very political, it is about gender politics. It is about what it is to be male, what it is to be female, what are gender roles, especially in The Ballad of Sexual Dependancy
Also it is very personal she has opened my eyes to the way the camera can be used to preserve and portray the most intimate moments and situations, and to depict people’s personal lives in both their lighter and more somber moments.
I am enamoured.
